❗️MISSED APPOINTMENTS❗️

In April 2026, 170 appointments were missed at East Fife Medical 😔

That equates to over 42 hours of clinical time lost ⏳ — appointments that could have supported patients waiting to be seen 🩺

Missed appointments have a real impact. They increase waiting times, add pressure to our busy team, and reduce access to care for others in our community 📋

If you no longer need your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible 📞 a quick call to our team on 01333 350241 can free up vital time for another patient ❤️

Let’s work together to make sure appointments are available for those who need them 🤝

🧠 May is Stroke Awareness Month 🧠
A stroke is a medical emergency, and recognising the signs quickly can save lives and reduce long-term effects.
Remember the FAST signs of stroke:
🔹 Face – Has their face fallen on one side? Can they smile?
🔹 Arms – Can they raise both arms and keep them there?
🔹 Speech – Is their speech slurred or difficult to understand?
🔹 Time – Time to call 999 immediately if you notice any of these signs.
Stroke can happen to anyone, at any age, and acting FAST is vital.
Additionally, the NHS Fife website has lots of helpful information and resources to support those living in Fife following a stroke. Please visit the NHS Fife website for more information.
