"My name is Carolyn, I work at Scotts Fruit & Veg, I've been here for almost 5 years and on Friday 27th of February, I will be leaving.

To be honest, it feels like it's happening to someone else, because I love working here, it's surreal but I'm looking forward to switching my alarm off. I've had the best time working here, there's not many proper fruit and veg places left so we've built up a great relationship with customers of all ages. I love the customers, I love interacting with them. We have plenty of elderly customers and for some, speaking to shop workers like myself may be the only conversations they have so I've always try to give them my time when they're in, we just chat like old friends.

We do home deliveries for people who request them, people who maybe can't get out and it's absolute free on a Tuesday or a Thursday, just phone the day before and we'll get to you!

I'm actually a Methil girl, but we've lived in Leven 13 years. My husband and I have a camper van so we're planning on taking some time to "reevaluate" and plan the next step, we're going with our wee dog who's 15 tomorrow, I've got him a card!

The community we have here is great, Levenmouth as a whole has so much going for it. Here at Scotts we've done stuff for charity, we raised money for a motor neuron disease charity as it's something very close to our hearts, we've also donated to various places all over such as care homes and schools, making up fruit baskets for raffles. We have to do our bit to help when and where we can"
