Unity, founded in 1998, offers professional diplomas in Unity Yoga Teacher Training, Unity Partner Yoga™ Teacher Training, Holistic Massage, Reiki and a Postgraduate Yoga Programme, plus many other certified courses. The Unity Centre in Lewes offers a variety of classes and workshops. Unity Retreats are welcoming of families, supplying a wonderful kids club. Individuals always welcome and mixed abilities personally cared for.

Our Next Holistic Massage Taster Workshop ✨

📍Friday 5th September, 11am-2pm

Ground yourself in the art of holistic touch and discover how massage can release deep-seated physical & emotional tension, while also learning how to care for your own wellbeing as a therapist.

Led by Sevanti, this beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for:

🤲 Complete beginners.
🤲 Those wishing to refresh skills.
🤲 Anyone curious about holistic techniques.

You’ll explore:
• Acupressure
• Oil massage
• Head, neck & shoulder release
• Thai massage
• Pulsing
• Energy work

💫 This workshop can be taken as a standalone experience or as preparation for the Unity Holistic Massage Diploma (certified by MTI), beginning 5th Feb 2026.

A Day of Rest, Movement & Deep Renewal!

Whether you’re completely new or returning to practice, you are welcome just as you are. Every session is held with an open, non-judgmental atmosphere, inviting you to listen to your body and honour your needs throughout the day. All are welcome!

Join us for a nourishing day retreat designed to support your whole being - body, heart, mind, and spirit.

Guided with care and sensitivity, this is a space to move gently, rest deeply, and reconnect with yourself and others in a peaceful, inclusive environment.

What to Expect:
A flowing, meditative yoga practice, suitable for all ages, bodies, and levels of experience. The morning invites grounding, breath, and gentle awakening through mindful movement.

After a nourishing break with herbal teas, fruit, and light nibbles, we’ll move into a meditative movement and dance session, drawing on Open Floor conscious dance.

This is an invitation to explore natural, expressive movement as a pathway to deeper awareness and release —no steps to learn, no experience needed, just your presence.

Following a restful lunch break, we’ll continue with a supportive partner yoga practice, including acupressure massage techniques and the healing presence of Reiki-inspired touch.

These practices invite deeper relaxation and a shared sense of connection.

Our day will gently close with Yoga Nidra, a deeply restful guided meditation accompanied by crystal singing bowls, followed by a closing circle to ground and integrate your experience.

Unity offers a comprehensive 300 hour teacher training which will equip you with everything you need to become a knowledgeable and successful teacher.
Sevanti, the school founder has been training teachers for over 20 years. She will be joined by expert guests to deliver in-depth modules on anatomy and physiology, yoga history and philosophy, Ayurveda, teaching yoga for mental health and disabilities, and more.

The course takes place over several months, providing time to integrate and implement your learning. This approach has been shown to deliver the best learning experience and allows you to build your yoga network, practice your teaching, and develop confidence in your own teaching style.
