🎃🍫🥳Congratulations to the winner of the Halloween competition - the correct number of pumpkin sweets in the jar was guessed by one of the lovely Ringmer Good Neighbours - a group of wonderful volunteers who give their time to help Ringmer residents with transport, shopping, or just a bit of company… Our winner visits our resident Alan, so he is holding the sweets until she comes to pick them up and see him this afternoon! It was 78 sweets in the jar - thanks to everyone who entered!

💗🎂🥳 LOVE a birthday! Resident Alan celebrated in style this week; his family visited and gave him a beautiful big balloon 🎈 which he enjoyed showing to all the other residents! Of course there was a cake with candles, a big ‘happy birthday’ sung by staff, and a personal gift - as Alan decided he didn’t need anything specific, our activities coordinator Kate will take him to the pub for a drink, at his request. Happy Birthday Alan! 🥳

🍽️😋Winter Warmers Wednesday at today - it’s a rainy, cold day, so we are in full comfort food mode! Residents chose between chicken stew with dumplings or buck rarebit, and for dessert there was apple and nectarine crumble with custard. Yum! What would you choose?

👻🤗 are getting Halloween ready - we have been making little ghosts - a really simple craft, but great for hand-eye coordination and very sociable! We had a very productive afternoon, and managed to make 16 ghosts! We’ve decided a group of ghosts is called a haunting 👻😬.

Tasty Tuesday at - residents chose between ham hock and vegetable stew, or cold meat salad today. For dessert there was queen of puddings. Of course chef will make changes for anyone with dietary restrictions or preferences; we are proud of our person centred care at Lime Tree House.
