🎊 This week in group, we celebrated the amazing men in our group and heard from the three members nominated for our Man of the Year 2026 competition. Together, these inspiring men have lost an incredible 8st 9lb!

They shared what first brought them to Slimming World, how much they love food optimising and their group, how they get themselves back on track when motivation slips, and of course — their favourite foods they enjoy along the way!

What really shone through from all three was just how much their weight loss journeys have improved their mental health, confidence and overall happiness. ❤️

At the end of the session, we proudly crowned Adrian as our Leyburn Slimming World 9am Man of the Year 2026! 🎉👏 A huge congratulations to Adrian and to all of our nominees — you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Poke bowls are trending all over the place so I decided to have a go myself! Checked out a few recipes but didn’t have half the ingredients 🙃 so I just made it up! We’ve got lettuce in the bottom, cucumber, peppers, spring onion, tomatoes, sweetcorn, peas (these are supposed to be edamame bean lookalikes 😂) carrot, sweet drop peppers, feta cheese, a sweet chilli hot smoked salmon fillet and an egg!
So basically it’s a salad 😂

I was this close to picking up a chocolate orange danish today 🍊🥐… then I remembered all the amazing fresh fruit on sale in Campbells 🍒✨

These cherries were such a treat and honestly hit the spot perfectly! Sometimes it’s not about “missing out” — it’s about finding swaps that still feel satisfying while keeping your mind focused on your goals 💪

Little choices like this really do add up, and this one has helped keep me on track for my goal this week ❤️

A new family tea for us tonight requested by the youngest member!
Tacos 🌮 made taco mince using the taco seasoning, salsa, rice, cheese, iceberg lettuce and of course taco shells from that I used my swips for! Messy going on but absolutely delicious 😋
I love meals where I put it all in the middle of the table and everyone digs in!
