Dean, her son joined the practice in 2017 and Alice in 2021 to complement the surgery with their BSc Podiatry Degree knowledge. 25 years today I opened Leyland Chiropody / Podiatry Surgery.
Many many feet have hobbled in and skipped out. Many thanks to all our faithfull customers and especially to my talented, caring and skillful son and Podiatrist, who is so hardworking and devoted to The Practice. Here's to the next 25 years!

Our Story

Karen and Dean Tattersall are both HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) Registered Podiatrists. With 33 years NHS and private practice experience, Karen has been caring for the feet of people in Leyland and surrounding areas since establishing her practice in 1991.Dean joined the practice in 2017 after graduating from Salford University with a degree in Podiatric Medicine.

Leyland Chiropody/Podiatry Surgery boasts exceptional clinical hygiene standards and all instruments are cleaned and sterilised to N.I.C.E guidelines.The Podiatrists maintain the level of C.P.D. (Continued Professional Development) required by The Health Care Professions Council.

Specialising in General Podiatry ie corns,callus,athletes foot,verruca; difficult,fungal and ingrowing nails; heel pain and plantar fasciitis. We pride ourselves in our exceptional standards of care and management of all foot problems. Our specialist skills include the use of local anesthetics for nail surgery and verruca needling, along with cryosurgery (freeze treatment for verrucae) and bespoke simple insole construction.

Leyland Chiropody Surgery is easily accessible and found in `the heart` of Leyland. It is a short walk from Aldi Supermarket on Towngate and close to bus routes. There are no parking restrictions. There are toilet facilities and a portable disabled ramp is available.
