π From Tuesday 7th April, we're changing how our appointment system works.
π We've listened to our patients' feedback when they've told us they hate the 8am scramble to get in touch to book an appointment, they sometimes struggle to get appointments, and they want to be able to use different ways to get in touch.
π² To book a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner appointment, please use the NHS App (https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/) or the form on our website (wordenmc.net). You can complete the form for yourself, or on behalf of anyone else of any age.
β The form will be open from 6:30am until 6:30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). This means you don't have to contact us at 8am unless that time is convenient for you.
π If you don't have Internet access, or a smart phone, you can still call us on 01772 423555 and our Care Navigation team will complete the form on your behalf.
π©ββοΈ All requests will be reviewed by our Triage Team, usually on the same working day. Our administration team will then be in touch either by phone call or text message to arrange an appointment or signpost you to the correct place, such as your local pharmacy.
βThere will be limited appointments from w/c 30th March while as we swap over to the new system.
π« We will not be able to take requests for GP appointments at the front desk. You will be asked to kindly complete the form online or over the phone.
π₯° We're really excited about the new appointment system - it'll mean requests are reviewed by a clinician in a timely manner, and you'll get the right help, at the right time, from the right person.
