Unfortunately, one of our funeral fleet vehicles was damaged today while parked outside our Leyland office.

The damage appears to have been caused deliberately, as it is located on the path-side of the vehicle.

We are currently reviewing our CCTV footage. If anyone witnessed anything or has any information that may help, we would be grateful if you could contact us directly.

Died peacefully on 18th January 2026 aged 81 Years.

A celebration of Dick's life will take place at Charnock Richard Crematorium on Monday 9th February at 2.30pm.

Family flowers only please, but donations in Dick's memory will go to Royal British Legion via

Here is a snapshot of current local cremation fees:

£1,340 (Monday–Wednesday)
£1,440 (Thursday–Friday)

🔸Preston Crematorium — £933

🔸Pleasington Crematorium — £1,050

🔸West Lancashire Crematorium (Burscough)
£1,125 (Monday–Wednesday)
£1,225 (Thursday–Friday)

🔸Overdale Crematorium — £1,090

🔸Wigan Crematorium — £896

**Some crematoriums offer a reduced-fee service earlier in the day. **

Your kindness and support have been truly overwhelming.

We’re delighted to share the wonderful news that Layla and Max have now found their forever home. 🐶🐶❤️

Their new family are ready to give them all the love and stability they deserve, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Thank you again to everyone who helped spread the word — it made all the difference. 💛

💔 Looking for a Loving Home – Layla & Max 💔

We are deeply saddened to share that a much-loved husband and wife recently passed away within just a few of weeks of each other. Their family are now facing the heartbreaking task of finding a new forever home for their two beautiful dogs.

🐾 Layla & Max – both 9 years old

• A bonded pair, so they must be rehomed together
• Max is castrated, Layla is not
• Gentle, loving, and looking for stability, comfort, and kindness

Their family want nothing more than to honour their owners’ memory by ensuring these two are welcomed into a safe, caring home.
