You can choose from the best lenses in the World - we are a Zeiss specialist - our dispensing optician will guide you to the best lenses for your requirement and lifestyle. We offer everyone a comprehensive eye examination - which includes OCT deep tissue scanning at a small extra cost. NHS patients are most welcome and receive the same attention and great service as private patients would expect to receive. We have a dedicated contact lens optician in the practice, who can fit virtually any type of lens to any type of patient. All our glasses come fully custom fitted to ensure your comfort. No slipping, no pinching, no ‘wonky-donkey-Jeremy-Corbin-spex! We have a great range of glasses for children and teens too, some of which are FREE with an NHS voucher. We also offer a home visit eye examination service, including choosing and fitting of spectacles or other optical devices, for those folks who are unable to leave the house. Because of these toes! Eewww right? Sorry if the overshare puts you off your breakfast!

These toes got squashed by a horse on Tuesday! 🐴

Sarah is very sorry, but still can’t put enough weight down on them, to manage a day in work and motorway driving.

So today we are closed and she’ll be answering the phone from home and doing admin!

Open as usually Monday at 9.30am (because Charlotte has no injuries!)

We see this SO much! So many people don’t think about their eyes until there’s an issue. It’s so important to keep an eye (excuse the pun!) on your eyes 👀 even if everything seems normal. If you’ve never had an eye test or haven’t had one for a long time, give us a call or drop us a message and we can get you booked in!

Yesterday we had to tell our darling girl Peppa that she wasn’t reserved anymore, but it just means that we get to love her for a little while longer. She was still a bit sad😢

Peppa is a shy, gentle girl who craves love and affection, but is still a nervous soul at the same time. She will accept little scratches under her ears and she’ll give me the most gentle kisses in return. We truly don’t think she has a bad bone in her body 😌

Peppa will need a kind resident dog in her new home to be her best friend and her guide. Everything will be new to her so she does have a lot to learn, but we do think she’ll settle okay after a little while. She has already started learning to walk on a harness, but it’s still early days so her adopters will need to do lots more practice in the garden with her before she’s ready to take on the outside world. She would like a child free home as they would be a bit too overwhelming for her, and we’re not sure what she’s like with cats but can test her if needed!

There’s not a bad word we can say about this sweet angel and we hope someone comes along and feels the same way about her soon. She deserves to find her safe haven so much 💔
