I'm wanting to do some market research for my business.
In 30 years as a Beauty & Holistic Therapist there have been so many changes with treatments, trends & pricing structures that it can be hard to keep up.
I would love real honest feedback as I find myself possibly needing a slight change within my current business model.
As I am a home based business it can be difficult reaching new client's & what people want. I am looking at having much more of a social media presence - is this something you look for in a business? The amount or variety of posts? Would an active media presence make you more inclined to buy into that business?
I have re-trained in Reiki 1 so later this year I will be so excited to add Reiki to my treatment list & I am keen to explore this area more by working with Crystals too. I am a qualified Reflexologist but have not practiced for a while so I will be doing a refresher course to reintroduce this. Are these treatments something that you have or would want to try?
Treatments that I am trained in but were not for me are, Henna Brows, Lash extensions, Make-up, Nail art & Tanning.
As well as a couple of questions above, I would love to know from my friends on here.....
Is pricing important in your choice of where you would have a treatment? Would you prefer a more cost effective treatment (cheaper) that was for example, quicker in time & less treatment content, or would you pay more for a better quality treatment?
Would you be driven more to book a treatment if a discount or offer was given or would you book because you want that treatment? If a discount was given on a 'mini' version of a treatment, would that sway you?
Does a practioner being too quick that you feel rushed put you off booking?
Does a practitioner being too slow put you off booking?
Does someone with experience & high qualifications make you more likely to book with that person, or is that not a consideration?
Would a business that had specific business policies such as payment, bookings, terms & conditions put you off?
I offer Natural Manicures & Pedicures, BIAB, Aromatherapy & Basic massages, Facials, Lash & Brow tint & wax, LVL, Indian Head Massage, Waxing, Dermaplaning, Gel Polish hands/feet - is there a treatment that I dont offer that if I did, you would try?
Is there anything that you could add that I haven't mentioned that could help me?
I want to continue doing a job I absolutely adore so I am open & grateful for any input.
