This mornings run goal, further not faster, enjoy the surroundings in the park on this beautiful day and to just keep going until Pippin had finished at the groomers πŸ™Œ

I find running hard but I love the way it makes me feel when I've finished. The real dopamine hits come from doing hard things that challenge you, leaving you feeling accomplished. Dopamine is your motivational brain chemical. It lights up your brain and makes you feel productive and excited, which in turn increases your ability to maintain discipline.

Check out and give him a follow to learn more about boosting your brain chemistry. I'd also thoroughly recommend his book The DOSE Effect (DOSE standing for Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, Endorphins)

Sharing a little snippet of our Caribbean Christmas in the sunshine.
Grateful for family time, snorkeling shipwrecks we saw our first sea turtles, explored lots of beautiful beaches, paddle boarding, new cuisine and sunshine in abundance 🌞
I've read 3 books and pressed reset. Precious time indeed!

As 2025 comes to a close, I want to wish you all a happy, healthy new year filled with opportunities, love and gratitude.

Pilates Instructor by trade but my favourite hat to wear is my Friday afternoon volunteering role with visiting Farington Moss St Paul's primary school with my beautiful dog Pippin 🐾

We follow the Read 2 Dogs scheme, which allows us to support children with their reading and to provide them with a little bit of "me time" with Pippin.

As we complete another half term group we wish everyone at St Paul's a peaceful, happy Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŒŸπŸΎ

Pilates Classes delivered by an experienced Level 3 Instructor

Pilates is a unique method of body conditioning that elongates and rebalances the body. It is a low impact exercise system that focuses on stretching and strengthening the whole body to improve balance, muscle-strength, flexibility and posture. It is based on a series of principles to which each of the exercises adheres. Pilates was created by its namesake, German-born, Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s.

If practiced with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the whole body. It puts emphasis on postural alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

The Pilates system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to improver. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises
