Dual Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Homes (EBD)
Location: Warrington
Salary: From £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Homes: Two 3-bed homes supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
A highly rewarding and senior opportunity has arisen for a Dual Registered Manager to take responsibility for two established children’s residential homes in Warrington, each registered for up to three children with EBD.
We are seeking a confident, experienced, and child-focused leader who is committed to delivering safe, therapeutic and high-quality care across both services. This role is fully supported by an experienced Responsible Individual, with systems in place to ensure ongoing compliance, staffing support and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take full regulatory and operational leadership of both children’s homes in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted Quality Care standards
• Promote a culture of warmth, consistency, and trauma-informed practice that supports children to feel safe and thrive
• Lead both homes towards achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
• Build and sustain professional, skilled care teams through effective recruitment, supervision and development
• Ensure robust safeguarding procedures, risk management and behaviour support practices are in place and consistently followed
• Maintain accurate records, prepare for inspections, and liaise with professionals including social workers, IROs and partner agencies
• Deliver high-quality person-centred care that reflects the individual needs and care plans of each child
Essential Criteria:
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• At least two years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy across more than one setting
• Proven success supporting children with EBD within a residential care environment
• Excellent understanding of safeguarding, child protection legislation and regulatory expectations
• Strong leadership and staff management skills with the ability to role model therapeutic approaches
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work across multiple homes
