💬 Testimonial Tuesday 💙

“What impressed me the most was that I was truly listened to. Not just hearing my words, but genuinely understanding them – through thoughtful and caring questions that helped me see what really mattered.

I didn’t expect that working with a specialist would help me feel calmer, more confident, and kinder towards myself. I’ve developed a sense that I can rely on myself and my inner state, rather than coping with difficulties through tension or force.”

✨ This powerful feedback is about our wonderful Svitlana, who leads our incredible J2WfU project. Her compassion, insight, and dedication are helping people build confidence, resilience, and self-belief.

🏃‍♀️ 3 months to go until Tabatha takes on the London Marathon!

It’s been an icy 🥶 month of training, but Tabatha is loving getting stuck in and ticking off the plan, another big week of learning and laughs along the way!

From intervals and strength sessions to club runs, solo “quick shop” 10Ks 🤣, hilly bike rides and a strong 17.5k long run, the miles are adding up 💪

💙 If you’d like to donate and support Tabatha while helping Staffordshire Network for Mental Health continue our work in the community, please follow the link below:

💙 Today is Blue Monday – often called the “most depressing day of the year.”

If you’re feeling low, you’re not alone. Small steps can help lift your mood:
🌿 Take a short walk outside
💧 Drink water and eat something nourishing
📞 Reach out to a friend, family member, or support service
🧘‍♀️ Try a few minutes of deep breathing or mindfulness

💚 Staffordshire Network for Mental Health is here to help. Join our Emotional Wellbeing Workshop this month if you're feeling low and learn practical ways to boost your mental health and connect with others in your community.

🍯 Happy Winnie the Pooh Day 🍯

Winnie the Pooh reminds us of some very important lessons when it comes to mental health, slowing down, being kind to ourselves, and leaning on friends when we need to.

As Pooh once said:
💬 “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

Today is a lovely reminder that it’s okay to:

Take things at your own pace
Enjoy the simple moments
Ask for help when you need it
Be gentle with yourself

Sometimes, a quiet walk, a warm drink, or a chat with someone you trust is enough, just like a stroll through the Hundred Acre Wood 🌳💛

✈️ A gentle reminder if you’re planning a break… ✈️

If you’re looking at booking a holiday, weekend away, or hotel stay, we just wanted to remind you that you can support Staffordshire Network for Mental Health along the way,at no extra cost to you.

By using Easyfundraising when booking through travel sites like TUI, Booking.com, Expedia, or Hotels.com, the company you book with makes a small donation to SNfMH as a thank you.

https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/

For bigger purchases like holidays, these one-off donations can really add up and make a meaningful difference to the support we’re able to offer locally 💙

It’s a simple thing to do, and we’re so grateful to everyone who thinks of us in this way. Thank you for continuing to support mental health in our community.

Safe travels and happy planning 🌍

💬 Testimonial Tuesday 💬

“Thank you for giving me the time and space, and for all your hard work.
Having someone listening has been so important to me. Thank you for not judging me in any way, and being understanding. I feel more able to look toward the future now.”

This lovely feedback is for Matt, one of our Toolbox Project Workers, and perfectly reflects the compassionate, non-judgemental support we aim to offer at Staffordshire Network for Mental Health.

We’re so grateful to be able to support people at difficult times and help them feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the future 💙
