Labradorite.

Lore of the Inuit people claim Labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis.

This is a mystical stone associated with Shamanism. It is excellent for awakening intuition, psychic abilities, clairvoyance and magical powers. It can also help you connect with guides and spirits, and access memories of past lives and Akashic records.

Labradorite can also calm an overactive mind, stabilise emotions, ignite the imagination and bring in new ideas. Labradorite revitalises the spirit and helps to clear out the stresses and strains of everyday life.

It's a great stone for stimulating the Throat chakra which allows us to speak our personal truth and also allows the energy from the other chakras to be expressed. A balanced Throat chakra helps to keep us rooted in authenticity. It's also good for working with the Third Eye chakra which connects us to the spiritual world.

Sometimes known as the "temple of the stars," Labradorite is believed to be of extra-terrestrial origins and can pe*****te the veils between realms.

So what happens in a crystal healing session? The client will lie fully clothed on a couch and crystals will be intuitively selected by the therapist and/or selected with a pendulum. Crystals will be placed on and around the body with particular emphasis on the 7 main energy centres or chakras. Crystals may also be used throughout the aura to clear any areas of stagnant energy and to 'boost' areas in need of a little TLC. Crystal grids may also be used to help restore the flow of energy around the body.

Crystal healing sessions allow you to disconnect from your outer world and reconnect with your inner world. All you need to do is lie back, relax and allow the healing frequencies of the crystals to work their magic. This is an incredibly nurturing treatment.
