SEND help We are a parent lead support group for SEN parents, based in Lichfield and burntwood

SEND Help is a parent support group based in Lichfield and Burntwood, as neighbours with 5 SEN children between us we decided that there was no support for us as parents so with the help of Spark Children Centre we set up SEND Help after running our group in Burntwood for about 8 months we were approached and asked to set up a group with Charnwood Children's Centre in Lichfield to extend the suppo

rt we offer to more families within Staffordshire. Between the 2 groups we meet every Thursday for a brew and chat, with the added bonus of outside speakers coming over the course of the year. Both groups are drop in sessions as we know how busy life can be parenting a SEN child.

Hello everyone. We are taking a moment before back to school madness starts to update everyone.
Firstly, a reminder that our monthly video call will be happening on Wednesday the 4th September. We look forward to catching up with the summer holiday madness. Please join our WhatsApp group using the link on our page if you wish to join.
Our face to face sessions will resume on Thursday 19th September, due to staff holidays. However, moving forward, our face to face sessions will be fortnightly, at Lichfield football club only. Please note, although we will still be working with Spark, we won’t be hosting regular face to face sessions at the center moving forward.
This year we will be launching our lending library for you all to try SEND equipment for a small fee, so that you can trial equipment. We will be on hand to recommend if you need help. We always welcome any new ideas for additions to it.
We look forward to seeing old and new faces alike, hope you’ve all had as stress free a summer as possible.

Unfortunately group will be NOT be on today as we are on a course this week to extend our knowledge and learn new things that we can hopefully bring back to group. However we will be running our second wattsapp video call on the 3rd July xx
