As a fully qualified and insured Equine Sports Therapist I use a variety of modalities to offer the horse a complete theraputic session that will increase circulation, relieve tension, assist recovery and improve the mobility of your horse. Modalities used include Myofascial Release, Acupressure, Mobilisations, Stretches and Red Light Therapy

Horses will express muscle tension in many different w

ays. This can include obvious signs such as bucking, rearing and napping but can also be demonstrated more subtly such as resisting contact, fidgeting whilst mounting and tacking up and shortened stride. Even a horse not showing any signs of discomfort can benefit from a regular maintenance massage. By discovering and treating small areas of tension a treatment can prevent a slight niggle becoming more of a issue for you and your horse. I work with horses and ponies of all ages, shapes, size and discipline, from a faithful retired companion to top sport horses. Sessions usually lasts around an hour and a half, with a first visit taking longer for an initial consultation to discuss your horses requirements. Visits are charged by the session and not by the hour and you can rest assured I will always treat your horse with kindness and compassion and spend as long with your horse as necessary.
