🕯️ Baby Loss Awareness Week 🕯️
9th–15th October

This week, we come together to remember the babies who are no longer with us and to stand beside every parent and family who has experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of baby loss. 💗💙

Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, your grief is valid. Your baby is remembered. You are not alone.

💬 Baby loss affects thousands of families every year — yet it is often met with silence.
By talking about it, we honour every little life and help break the stigma that keeps so many people suffering in silence.

Throughout this week, we light candles, share stories, and offer support to anyone affected.
Together, we remember. Together, we heal. 🌸

🧠 Mental Health Affects Us All.

Mental health doesn’t discriminate.
It touches everyone — regardless of age, background, or status.

Some struggles are visible. Others are hidden behind smiles.
But everyone has a mental health story, and every story matters.

Let’s stop pretending it’s “someone else’s problem.”
Let’s talk about it. Normalise it. Support one another through it.

Because mental health isn’t them — it’s us. 💚

We love how Lisa Guilfoyle Counselling has worded this. Be kind to yourself today 🌻

Mothers day can be very difficult for lots of people. Some get to spend time with their mum, some wish they could spend time with her, some long to feel what it's like to be a mum, and some have never known their mum.
Everyone will experience mothers day differently. If all you can do is wait for the day to be over, be gentle, be kind to yourself, and I hope tomorrow is easier than today.

Just remember to always look after yourself. If you or someone you know needs support please do reach out.

Sometimes with grief it's about learning to live a new life embracing it and not trying to forget.

"Grief is love with nowhere to go"

Counselling can help you think of your missed person in order to process their death and where your feelings are then at.

Where's Stroebe and Schut said that grief means you bounce around. Can you see how the process is different to what Kubler-Ross had previously said.

Remember everyone's process is different and grief looks different to everyone.

Grief....

Who knows what it even means but sometimes finding comfort in knowing these cycles and feelings are normal help us manage our own feelings.

Remember there is no right or wrong way to grieve.

Kubler-Ross was one of the first women to identify stages of grief.
