🌱 Tempeh: The Gut & Hormone Hero! 🌱
Here’s a simple and delicious Grated Tempeh Chili recipe that’s perfect for meal prep or a cozy night in:
🌶 Grated Tempeh Chili Recipe 🌱
Ingredients (Serves 4):
* 1 block (200g) tempeh, grated
* 1 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
* 1 onion, diced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 bell pepper or roasted aubergine, diced
* 400ml passata
* 1 can (400g) kidney beans (or black beans), drained and rinsed
* 1 tbsp chili powder/ fresh chilli chopped (adjust to taste)
* 1 tsp cumin
* 1 tsp paprika
Did you know tempeh is not only a plant-based protein powerhouse but also fantastic for hormonal health? 🙌 Tempeh is rich in phytoestrogens, which can help balance hormones naturally—making it especially beneficial for women during menopause or those managing hormonal fluctuations. 🌸
✨ Why Tempeh Deserves a Spot in Your Diet:
✅ Over 20g of protein per serving 💪
✅ Packed with fiber for a happy gut 🌿
✅ Fermented for better digestion 🧬
✅ Rich in phytoestrogens to support hormonal balance 🔄
✅ A great source of B vitamins & minerals ⚡
🌟 My favorite hack: Grate your tempeh for a plant-powered chili! It crumbles perfectly and absorbs flavors like a dream—plus, it’s super easy on your digestion and keeps your blood sugar steady. 😋👌
