TOMORROW WE GO LIVE

This week will be spent setting up staff in the system, establishing appointment lists and diaries, linking software (eg printers and label machines) and having further training of how to use the system.

We will also be prioritising prescription requests that have been left in over the past few days.

We will continue to have limited appointments as we set up and learn this new system. Our treatment room will continue INRs and dressings. GPs and ANPs will only be dealing with urgent issues. Palliative care will be prioritised.

Please consider other avenues of care while we gradually increase our appointment availability back to full capacity over the coming weeks.

For emergencies, including mental health emergencies, please use A&E
For injuries, burns, foreign bodies in ears, nose or eyes please consider the minor injury units through Phone first
For sore throats, coughs, urine infections, and minor ailments such as thrush, lice, scabies please speak to your local pharmacist
For sudden eye pain, red eyes or visual disturbances please consider the PEARS service though local opticians
