Move.Play.Grow School and home provision for neurodivergent children 🌿

Move, Play & Grow provides SEND and sensory provision for schools and children's services across Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas. Our portable, pop up sensory room transforms any space into a sensory sanctuary, providing not only a sensory break for children, but also delivering provision that incorporates sensory regulation with aspects of emotion regulation, and wellbeing. Our practice is grounded in the affirmative model of disability, meaning we celebrate the unique differences of children accessing our service, focus on building positive identities, developing regulation skills, reducing anxiety and supporting schools to meet the needs of their pupils identified as having SEND. All our provision is delivered by Leane, graduate psychologist, current MA SEND student and experienced professional working with children. Meet Leane 💫

Hello and welcome to our recently rebranded page Move.Play.Grow! I'm Leane, founder of Leane Fletcher - SEND Services and Move, Play & Grow. As we get ready to launch our new service from September, this seems like a great time to tell you a bit about myself...

💫 I am a late diagnosed autistic adult (and am exceptionally proud that I get the opportunity to be a positive role model for the children I work with).
💫 I am a mum to two neurodivergent girls and before my degree, was a full time parent carer for five years
💫 I graduated BGU with a first-class BA (Hons) in Psychology and SENDI and am currently pursuing an MA in SEND.
💫 My previous service Nurturing Needs ran for 18 months, before we sadly closed our Southwell base. Nurturing Needs provided sensory clubs for children age 3 - 12 and parent support. Our regular attendees have attested to the incredible benefits of this service.
💫 I am highly passionate about supporting children identified as having SEND and my work and practice are grounded in the affirmative model of disability.
💫 I have lived in Lincolnshire for my entire 33 years of life, I love that I get to be surrounded by fields, nature and beautiful views.
💫 I met my husband at seventeen, my favourite story of us is that we surprised our family and friends by getting married at our daughters christening (yes, it was very hard to keep it a secret!)
💫 There isn't much time for hobbies in my life, but I love learning and reading, heading to the gym and pool and being with my family and friends

We have some exciting news to share...

If you spotted our recent name and branding change, you may have been eagerly awaiting an update!

Over the next few months, all of the behind the scenes work will be going on ready to launch a new service from September!

In the meantime, if you are a Headteacher, SENCO, Teacher, TA School Governor or parent of a neurodivergent child in a mainstream primary school and would like to hear about our school sensory provision, we would love to hear from you!

Plus, we are actively looking for schools in the Lincolnshire area who would be interested in a FREE taster sensory session.
