The Complementary Medicine Clinic is delighted to announce the opening of its newly established herbal garden, a vibrant and educational space designed to support the growth and study of medicinal plants. 🌱☘️

In recent weeks, students from the BSc (Hons) Clinical Herbalism degree programme have been hard at work preparing the garden beds and planting the first selection of herbs.

🎓 Celebrating Our Alumni: Bringing Accessible Acupuncture to the Community! 🌿

We are incredibly proud of our alumni, Hannah Necsulescu and Sally Kennedy, who have launched Bolsover Wellness CIC, a not-for-profit initiative dedicated to making acupuncture and complementary therapies more accessible in Nottingham!

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture in 2024 and gaining hands-on experience at our Lincoln College Complementary Medicine Clinic, Hannah and Sally have gone on to open Sherwood Community Acupuncture.

Operating from Sherwood Methodist Church, their clinic uses a multibed model, allowing them to treat multiple patients at once and offer a sliding scale pricing system —making high-quality acupuncture available to more people.

Their passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and community healthcare is inspiring, and we can’t wait to see how their clinic continues to grow!
