Ruckland Court Care Home Ruckland Court Care Home offers residential and dementia care on the Ermine Estate in Lincoln.

Ruckland Court Care Home in Lincoln provides residential, dementia care and short-stay respite care for convalescing. Our friendly staff team get to know each person individually providing 24-hour person-centred care. Our recently refurbished care home has sixty-two en-suite bedrooms, facilities include our Coffee Club cafe, entertainment suite, Dambusters Arms pub and hair salon. The wellbeing team provide daily activities and facilitates day trips and outings.

Reverend Rachel from St John the Baptist Church delivered a beautiful service this morning. She tested our knowledge of the bible with a quiz, we prayed together and we were shown bibles in Greek and Hebrew. Resident Elli thoroughly enjoyed this service as every Monday her churches Reverend, Rev Phillip visits her for holy communion.

Autumn Fayre. We raised £240 for the comfort fund. There were games galore with hook a pumpkin, pin the nose on the pumpkin and Halloween tin can alley. Massive thank you to Diana for looking after the stalls, Michelle for being front of house and the kitchen for supplying delicious cakes. Roll on Saturday 13th December for the Christmas Fayre.

The residents made toffee coated apples. The apples have been cleaned had a stick placed in them and coated in delicious homemade toffee. Then wrapped up with beautiful ribbon. These will be on sale tomorrow at our Autumn Fayre.

Our Story

Situated in the North of Lincoln on the Ermine Estate, Ruckland Court provides personalised care and support in a quiet residential area. Close to A15 and Lincoln bypass, the home has excellent transport links. Designed especially for people looking for both comfort and independence, Ruckland Court is also connected to an adjoining Social Outreach Centre, which provides a hair salon, activities, library, shop and chiropodist. Care is provided with 41 single and 6 double self contained flats on the ground and first floor, carefully thought out so that every individual resident can maintain a high level of independence. Each flat comprises of a personal lounge, fitted kitchen, private W.C, hand basin, shower and bed area with built in cupboard. Opportunity is given to personalise the flat with your own furniture. The home is wheelchair, complete with a passenger lift to the first floor. The gardens are all well maintained with lots of outdoor space for residents and families to enjoy.
