Hi Folks, I hope you are all managing to get through the drab month of January, only helped with the very rare sighting of some clear sky and sunshine, which we all really need for our mood lift, and positivity.
It’s a very tough month for many after the high times of Christmas and New Year celebrations, then the dreaded return to work etc for most, and wishing away the first month until the first payday of the year.
A genuine Usui Reiki treatment everyday for myself (30 mins or so), really does have huge benefits, for lifting mood, creating positivity, aiding focus, and fighting feelings of anxiety, as well as the big bonus of aiding sleep quality, because when you have a Reiki session you enter a deep state of meditation and relaxation, without having to conciously try to get into that headspace by conventional meditation techniques, (something a lot people really struggle with).
This deep relaxation and meditation state is accompanied by most who undergo a session of Usui Reiki, by vivid psychedelic changing colours in the clients mind and behind the relaxed eyelids, plus heat, and often vibration / tingling sensation from the practitioner’s hands as they move from one energy centre (Chakra / Tanden point) to the next along the body starting around the head and generally ending at the feet.
A full session normally last around 45-50 mins but can be a bit longer if anyone feels they need more Reiki in a particular area for pain relief etc, of which is another great benefit of this amazing system.
I had a client in the past who were themselves a sports physio recovering from a knee operation, and could not do anything more for themself, than they had tried already, or bear any manipulation of any kind, to aid the recovery of the knee area so they could be fit enough to go on an upcoming holiday with an active family and do lots of walking.
The Client had one a first 50 min session, which gave an impressive improvement of mobility and faster recovery from the operation, which enabled them to up their walking stamina dramatically in the following week or so, and so much so they returned again after 3 weeks just before the holiday just for a top up to ensure they were really good to go and have the confidence the knee was properly rehabilitated, thanks to the increased circulation and faster recovery benefits of the Reiki energy treatment.
The client never needed to return for another session which was a very pleasing outcome indeed and proof ( not that I needed it) that Reiki is a very powerful system (with Japanese Bhuddist origin) for many problems of body and mind, and always creating balance and harmony between the two.
