⚠️ Update on MenB Vaccination

The meningitis B (MenB) vaccine was added to the routine childhood immunisation schedule from 1st September 2015, in line with UK Government and NHS immunisation guidelines.

Children born before this date will not have received the MenB vaccine as part of their routine vaccinations.

According to current NHS and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) guidance, there are no changes to the national immunisation schedule. If this guidance is updated, eligible patients will be contacted directly.

At this time, we are unable to offer the MenB vaccine to individuals who are not eligible under the current national immunisation programme, as per NHS and Government policy.

Movember is an annual movement that takes place every November, where men around the world grow moustaches to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues.

The goal of Movember is simple but powerful: to change the face of men’s health. The movement focuses on three major areas:

Prostate cancer

Testicular cancer
