A huge day for so many of my patients today as they compete or try to complete the London or Manchester marathon.

It has been a pleasure to help you all on your journey, go and enjoy it!

Philip here is one of the people who gave me a huge helping hand at the start of my private podiatry career. Three fantastic years working with The Wellhead Practice in Bourne.

Next up, a little bit more about Shock Wave Therapy.

It’s a staple in the clinic, with great success using our Swiss Dolorclast device.

We use it for:
Muscle injuries
Tendon pathologies
Plantar Fasciitis
Interdigital perineuritis (Morton’s neuroma etc)

It’s NOT a cure all but it is excellent focal point in your treatment plan.

Foot and Ankle Show this week, so I’ll probably be posting a few bits and bobs.

1st talk today will focus on surgical interventions for hallux rigidus (non-movable big toe joint). My masters dissertation covered conservative approaches to this area.

Although part of me wishes I had gone on to do the surgical training, I do love treating these in clinic.

A bit overwhelmed by the generosity of people this year!

Another Christmas, another year down at the clinic. We’re 5 years old now and going from strength to strength.

A huge thank you to everyone who has utilised us this year, to those who have recommended our services and to everyone who supports us.

Our social media ambassador had a very busy Friday and missed his one and only important Facebook related task for the week, tut tut (it's me, Matt, I'm the social media ambassador).

Anyway to brighten up your rainy Saturday, today's musing is all about snow..

So, it's pretty cold out. Some of you have poor circulation and suffer with cold feet.

Keep them wrapped up warm and dry to help prevent chilblains.

We have a couple of lotions and potions in the clinic which can help, however they are best used as a preventative.

The great thing about being a day late? Only 6 days left until the next .

On Friday 7th June 11am we will be doing a lap of honor in memory of Joe showcasing all the Joe Carr Removals fleet he has worked so hard to achieve over the last 5 years. Below you can see our planned route. We will be coming into the village from speedway corner and making our way back to our depot on Fen Road. Feel free to come outside and show your appreciation for an incredible mate, business man but most importantly family man ❤️
