The ancient Celtic festival celebrating the return of light and the first stirrings of spring, as Mother Earth awakens from her slumber 🌅

The Gaelic goddess, Brigid is celebrated during Imbolc, for she embodies healing, creativity, poetry, fertility and smithcraft. She is the goddess of fire, chasing away the darkness of winter 💚

We honour her by creating Brigid's crosses, traditionally made from woven rushes and hung for protection, symbolising her presence and blessing. Light candles and fires to celebrate the return of the light 🕯

Winter has a been a period of deep rest and reflection. As the land around us begins to come alive once more, we take the first slow steps towards creating new beginnings, new intentions and raising our energies to carry us forward.
