Looking at coffins isnt everyone’s idea of fun, but you can’t say this by isn’t gorgeous! Today I had the honour of leading a funeral for a man who had so many passions, from his time as a fire fighter, to super cars and boxer dogs, todays service truly reflected his passions, just like this gorgeous coffin reflects a love of nature.

Today I officiated at a funeral for an amazing lady who was really in touch with nature, so she opted for a natural burial. This means that everything has to biodegradable including the coffin, there is no headstone and in this case the surrounding area is more like natural woodland. These were some of the flowers which adorned the coffin, picked from her very own amazing garden. The service included her favourite music, poems and a lovely personalised eulogy.

At todays wonderful funeral, we all sang the hymn Jerusalem. I am not a religious person, but I do a love having a good old sing along to a hymn or two and this one is my favourite! This wonderful gentleman had over 100 people attend his final farewell, so it sounded amazing when we all sang 🎶

Really looking forward to attending the wedding show in a couple of weeks. This event last year was great, I have no doubt this year will be even bigger and better!! Looking forward to meeting all the couples, hearing their wonderful stories and hopes for their special day. Also a great opportunity to catch up with all the wonderful suppliers who I often work with. Hope to see you there 🥰🤩
