We see adverts showing happy families in matching PJs, huge piles of expensive presents, nobody is having a drunken row, grieving for a loved one, struggling with finding money for their Christmas dinner or feeling lonely in these adverts.

I found this interesting scale for mental health. I wondered if it would be of any use to any of you. I have used it in the past, to express using a number, how I am feeling to anyone else who is in the know about the scale.
If it helps just one person....and starts a conversation its worth a look.

We recently lost a friend to su***de. Our best friend, Megan, and us, actually made this scale together years ago. We have used it to help each other through the toughest times. When it was really bad, we could just look at each other and say “What number?” and we always knew what the other … ...
