Hevanessence Reiki

I am a Teacher and a mother of 2 young boys. People question what reiki is and how it helps. It is initially a chance for you to stop, relax and allow your body to start a detox and renewal process. For me it is a way of life. I live by the 5 principles of reiki that begin 'Just for Today'. It is easier than you think. How did I get to this point? I have had an interesting and diverse set of events in my life to get me to where I am today. Having been through school, college and University, I was sharing a flat with someone who suffered with mental health issues. After a series of events, I was accepted at the last minute onto a PGCE in Luton. I qualified as a Teacher and spent 8 years working with mainly boys who had behavioural issues and most of it could be put down to circumstances in their lives. I loved working with those students and to see them now as adults with their own children - I am a very proud lady. My life moved on from looking primarily after my students to having a son and a fiancé. I have since got married to a wonderful man and had another child. I had been a Supply Teacher for 4 years when I met two amazing people who changed my life with Reiki. My first session left me crying and exhausted but the world was a much better place in the morning. Mark and Jan have become my 'Reiki parents' and they help me continue to grow and learn and treat others. I have worked in schools supporting staff with Reiki. They became more energised and happier in themselves. More recently I have started to expand my gifts by investigating the world of spirit with an amazing and talented gentleman. I have met lots of wonderful people on my travels and I look forward to meeting so many more.
