☀️Contact Lenses Can Help Protect Your Eyes from UV Rays! 👁️🛡️

👓 UV protection & contact lenses:
🔹 UV rays can damage not just your skin, but also your cornea, lens, and retina, increasing the risk of conditions like cataracts, photokeratitis (sunburn of the eye), and macular degeneration.
🔹 Many modern contact lenses now come with UV-blocking technology built into the lens material. These lenses can block up to 90–99% of harmful UVA and UVB rays from reaching the parts of your eye they cover.
