Bwellness Therapy - Massage & Reiki Massage Therapy and bodywork is a powerful alternative healing therapy working to create a sense of restoration, relaxation and ease within our body and minds.

I am a qualified Massage Therapist, Master Reiki practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Level 4 certified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist and 200hr Vinyasa certified yoga teacher. Touch and manipulation of the soft tissues of the body release tension, increase flexibility, remediate injury and increase circulation to the tissues of the body whilst supporting the nervous system for renewal and repair which is ever important in our fast paced (stress driven) society, however the benefits this creates to our whole system can not be underestimated and creates a deeper sense of connection to self through becoming more aware of the body and creating space within the mind to reconnect to ourselves and re-energise. Reiki is a powerful healing technique which over time allows the subtle layers of the body to release stored/blocked energy created through past trauma and stressors aiming to create a sense of calm, relaxation and clarity that supports our daily lives and allows us to reach our greatest potential and wellbeing. When our energy is blocked or unbalanced we can become distracted, unfocused, low, anxious, overwhelmed and stressed ultimately leaving us feeling disembodied and dissatisfied in our lives.

Some days you just need to be idle.
To be. To feel. To simply exist ✨

Some weeks you feel like you have it all figured out.

Everything runs seamlessly. Energy is high.
Nothing phases you and it feels like it might stay that way.

Then it shifts…

Nothing goes to plan.
There aren’t enough hours in the day.
Motivation dips.
Everything feels heavier.

You feel everything and you’re not even sure why.

Sometimes the body speaks before the mind catches up.

And sometimes I have to remind myself that I am doing a good enough job.

💫 Solo parenting a toddler
💫 Running a business
💫 Holding space for clients
💫 Managing home life
💫 Staying connected to friends and family
💫 Caring for myself
💫 Healing

That’s a lot of hats. A lot of output. A lot of energy.
It’s easy to forget how much we carry and how quickly burnout creeps in if we don’t press pause. Because if we don’t pause… eventually the body will do it for us.

Rest isn’t selfish.
Sometimes it’s essential.
Yesterday was a reminder for me. After a full-on week, I hit a wall and my body stopped me 🤪

✨I do love an analogy so.....✨

Let’s look at alternative therapies like massage a little differently.

Think of it like a car, a vehicle that can take us in many directions, depending on where we want to go.
But the car itself doesn’t move without us. It needs intention, presence and participation.

Massage is a tool, not something that does healing for us, but something that supports the process when we’re willing to engage with our bodies.

On a physical level, massage can ease tension, reduce aches and pains, support injury recovery and gently regulate the nervous system.

On an emotional level, it creates space to feel what we’re holding somatically — giving room to process rather than distract or suppress.

Touch is powerful. It reconnects us to our bodies and when we’re grounded within ourselves, we show up more fully for others too.

Massage isn’t the destination, it’s the vehicle that helps you travel there 🚗🚗🚗💫💫

Surprise 😮 (not usually my thing).

After a personally difficult year, my heart feels really full thanks to some special family and friends 🧡

It reminded me that what matters most to me is connection — showing up, giving time, and being present with the people around us.

Feeling grateful for everyone who made my birthday special, even if I felt a little overwhelmed along the way 🤍

Happy New Year to all my clients ✨

It’s been a while since I’ve shared here. Last year felt like the right time to focus my energy more quietly on myself, my family and my clients.
I’m still here and still working in ways that feel true. As this new year begins, my intention is to share a little more of myself and my work again, gently and honestly.
Wishing you all a peaceful year ahead. I’m really looking forward to seeing familiar faces when I return to work on Monday and perhaps meeting some new ones too.

I'm not sure where the last 4 months went, but I'm back to work, and Bertie is thriving as you can see!!!!

I'm still operating from the same studio at the HUB Nettleham.
