Some days you just need to be idle.
To be. To feel. To simply exist ✨
Some weeks you feel like you have it all figured out.
Everything runs seamlessly. Energy is high.
Nothing phases you and it feels like it might stay that way.
Then it shifts…
Nothing goes to plan.
There aren’t enough hours in the day.
Motivation dips.
Everything feels heavier.
You feel everything and you’re not even sure why.
Sometimes the body speaks before the mind catches up.
And sometimes I have to remind myself that I am doing a good enough job.
💫 Solo parenting a toddler
💫 Running a business
💫 Holding space for clients
💫 Managing home life
💫 Staying connected to friends and family
💫 Caring for myself
💫 Healing
That’s a lot of hats. A lot of output. A lot of energy.
It’s easy to forget how much we carry and how quickly burnout creeps in if we don’t press pause. Because if we don’t pause… eventually the body will do it for us.
Rest isn’t selfish.
Sometimes it’s essential.
Yesterday was a reminder for me. After a full-on week, I hit a wall and my body stopped me 🤪
