🎉 Happy 60th Birthday, Glenda! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating a very special milestone for someone who truly is the backbone of Singleton Training – our amazing Glenda!

Glenda deserves all the love & happiness in the world, really is one of a kind 🌍❤️

Glenda is the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From securing courses and organising hotel bookings to being our very own hotdesk expert, she’s always ready to jump in and help. If you’ve ever needed an incident number when calling in, chances are Glenda has been the one to sort it out!

When she’s not keeping us all organised, Glenda enjoys the things she loves most — spending time with her cats, a good game of bingo, getting lost in a great book, and dancing the night away with a drink in hand! 🐱📚🍹💃

We will update you all on how well Glenda behaves after celebrating her 60th this Saturday at an ABBA themed evening at the Hilton, sequins & feather boas are at the ready 🍾🥂

Thank you for everything you do, Glenda. We hope your 60th birthday is as fantastic as you are and filled with celebrations, laughter, and maybe even a little dancing!

Historic announcement: Benedict's Law to become UK legislation
On Monday evening the Government confirmed that Benedict’s Law will be placed on the statute book through an amendment to the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill — a landmark moment for allergy safety in schools.
This important step means:
🔹 Every school must have and publish an allergy safety policy
🔹 All schools will be required to provide staff training on anaphylaxis
🔹 Emergency adrenaline must be available to treat life-threatening reactions
🔹 The Secretary of State will have powers to make regulations on allergy safety
For too long, a child's safety has depended on their postcode or individual teacher awareness. This legislation ensures consistent, legally enforceable protection for all children with serious allergies across the UK.
Benedict's Law is named in memory of Benedict Blythe, who died from anaphylaxis in December 2021. The extraordinary determination of his parents, Helen Blythe and Peter Blythe, through the work of the Benedict Blythe Foundation, has been instrumental in driving this change.
Their campaigning — alongside the collective efforts of the National Allergy Strategy Group (NASG), of which Anaphylaxis UK is proud to be a member — has helped secure this breakthrough. It marks the first primary legislation in the UK specifically focused on allergy.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Rebecca! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating the amazing Rebecca and the fantastic journey she’s had here at Singleton Training.

Rebecca first joined us as an office admin, and through hard work and dedication she developed her skills into an excellent medic. Now she’s stepped into her newest role as a full-time trainer, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Our very own Singleton Butterfly, Rebecca has truly spread her wings and continues to go from strength to strength. 🦋

But don’t be fooled — Rebecca isn’t one to be messed with… she’s our very own Karate Kid! 🥋

When she’s not training or saving the day, you’ll probably find Rebecca playing video games or enjoying some oversized pretzels. 🎮🥨
