🎄 That’s a wrap @ Alt-Ed Lincs🎁

As we hang up our stockings and switch off the classroom lights, we’re officially sleigh‑ing our way into the Christmas break⭐️

🎄Our students have had a truly magical end to term—they tucked into a delicious Christmas dinner, designed their very own Christmas cards (with one talented winner taking the crown), headed out for some festive Christmas shopping, and wrapped and donated presents to Let them eat cake - Lincoln supporting those facing homelessness this winter. A huge well done to them all for spreading kindness 🫶🏻🎁

We are now closed until 5th January, but don’t forget… the magic isn’t over. ✨

🪄Our Harry Potter–themed HAF Clubs will be running on 29th and 30th December, ready to whisk young witches and wizards into a world of wonder🧙‼️Spaces Available‼️

Until then, have a holly, jolly Christmas and a restful break. 🎅🪄

🎄 Festive Fun in Alt-Ed! 🎄

Our students got well and truly into the Christmas spirit today by making their own festive sausage rolls — and they were absolutely delicious! ✨

Brilliant effort from everyone involved. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… 🎅🎁

🐾 Today our wonderful Phil was the star of the show! Students practiced their dog grooming techniques with him, and he was such a good boy – patient, gentle, and forgiving throughout. We’re so lucky to have him as part of our Alt-Ed team 💙

🌟 We’ve had an awesome day at Alt-Ed Lincs! For our Living Independently program, each learner received a Tamagotchi to care for over the next week. It was all about taking responsibility—students had to read the instructions and figure out how to keep their little virtual pets happy!

There was plenty of fun, laughter, and a bit of friendly rivalry as everyone aimed to be the best "parent." 🥳 We had some hilarious moments, including one standout quote: “Hunger’s at level 2?! I’ve just fed it 5 burgers!!?” 🍔😂

Here's to a week of nurturing our Tamagotchis and creating unforgettable memories!

🐾 Yesterday, we had a wonderful visitor at our school! Phil joined us for the day, and he was absolutely adorable. He got along famously with the kids!

We took a lovely walk to Whisby Nature Reserve, where Phil charmed everyone he met. It was heartwarming to see the kids enjoying their time with him and soaking up nature. Looking forward to our next adventure with our furry friends! 🌳❤️

🎃🍂 Halloween & Autumn — we celebrated it in style at Alt-Ed Lincs 🍂🎃

This week was packed with seasonal fun: we wandered through forest trails spotting wildlife 🐿️🦉, carved some seriously cool pumpkins 🎨🎃, and treated ourselves to delicious chocolate apples 🍫🍏.

We got into the spooky spirit with horror films that gave us goosebumps 🎬😱, shared ghost stories that sent shivers down our spines 👻, and enjoyed trick-or-treating with plenty of giggles and goodies! 🍬🕸️

Here’s to more adventures as the leaves keep falling… 🍁🦇

🌟 We’ve settled into our groove this term, and it’s been a whirlwind of excitement! 🎉 We’re thrilled to welcome lots of new learners who have already brought such energy to our days.

🐾 We’ve been out in nature with our beloved school dog, Loki, enjoying fresh air and adventures. We even treated ourselves to a delicious day of cooking — those ‘French Toast Bacon Sandwiches’ were truly out of this world! 🥓🍞

Our adventures also took us to the driving range, where we had a blast swinging clubs, and we made a special trip to see the impressive new Lancaster Bomber Statue. ✈️

This term, we’re diving into a variety of engaging topics, including Photography, History, Foodwise, Gardening, Music, Art, Living Independently, Animal Care, and Health & Wellbeing. It’s all about learning, growing, and having fun together! 🌱🎶🎨

Here’s to more exciting adventures ahead! 🚀

🌟 Exciting news! Back in August, we had the incredible opportunity to travel to London to receive our beautiful trophy. We are both thrilled and proud to be recognised as the winners of this award!

Many of you may not be aware of the hard work and dedication that went into getting our business off the ground. What we do, we do with passion, and we truly make a positive impact on the lives of the young people who come to our centre. It’s heartwarming to receive this recognition for our efforts.

A huge thank you to all our friends and family for your unwavering support. We couldn't have done it without you!
