Most of the time, the problem isn’t the situation or whatever is going on around you at the moment.
It’s that your system feels overloaded.

When everything feels urgent, important, or too much…and it needs to be done now,
your mind tries to solve it all at once.
That’s when overthinking tends to spiral and overwhelm kicks in.

Things usually feel clearer once your system has had space to settle.

Calm first.
Clarity second.

Overthinking doesn’t usually mean you don’t know what to do.

It usually means something matters to you…
and you don’t want to get it wrong.

So your mind keeps going round the same thoughts…
trying to feel certain.

Unfortunately clarity rarely comes from more pressure which happens when you're in your head so much.
It usually comes when things settle and you give yourself space away from your head, such as through exercise, mindfulness or simply being present and connecting with friends and loved ones.

If you feel stuck in your head lately, nothing has gone wrong.
Your mind is just trying to protect you.
It just needs a different way forward.
