It’s time for Strangles Awareness Week!

We are proud to support Strangles Awareness Week and help share the BEST steps that can stop the spread of disease. Strangles can happen to anyone but being proactive really does protect horses, owners and yards from the misery of an outbreak.

🎉Tesco pledging £5,000 for community causes this May – including your Riding Club!🎉

Tesco and easyfundraising.org.uk have come together to give a little help to community causes across the UK – including grassroots sports clubs and groups. Five good causes will receive an unrestricted £1,000 - and one of them could be yours.

💡 Top Tip Tuesday – Tip #13

Getting together and meeting new people is part of the charm of championships but it can be the perfect environment for spreading diseases. A few simple habits can help keep your horses safe such as:

👉🏽Avoid contact with unfamiliar horses, for both you and your horse
🧹Take your own equipment with you so you don’t have to share
🧽Clean and disinfect your transport, boots and equipment before and after the event
🤒Monitor your horse’s temperature while away and once you’ve returned. An increased temperature is often the first sign they’re unwell.
