This week, our Perinatal Team and Perinatal Trauma & Loss Care Service have been visiting antenatal clinics at Lincoln County Hospital to speak with pregnant women and their partners as part of Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week.

They have spent time raising awareness, sharing information and promoting the support available before, during and after pregnancy. A huge thank you to our colleagues for championing maternal mental health and helping ensure every family feels heard and supported.

🌸Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 🌸

This week we’re proud to support Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week (4–10 May) — a national campaign led by the Perinatal Mental Health Partnership UK, dedicated to raising awareness of mental health before, during and after pregnancy.

This year’s theme, “A Decade of Voices,” marks 10 years of progress, partnership and lived experience leadership. It highlights the importance of listening to women, hearing their stories, and ensuring every parent feels supported and understood.

As part of the week, our Perinatal Team held one of their regular Walk and Talk groups this morning at Boultham Park in Lincoln. These sessions offer mums and babies a safe, supportive space to connect, share experiences and enjoy time outdoors while under the care of our team.
