Whether your little one loves exploring, stacking, rolling, building, or just being around other children, this is a simple, free way to get out of the house and enjoy some play together.

It is also a chance for parents and carers to help shape what family support and activities are needed locally, so the conversation is not just about what is on offer now, but what would actually help in this community.

Come along, bring a friend, and join us for a relaxed session with toys, play, and space to chat.

Tag a parent or carer who should know about this, and send them this post today.

šŸ“¢ Have your say on the Ermine Community Fund! šŸ“¢

Ermine residents are invited to help decide the priorities for the Ermine Community Fund. Your feedback will shape which community projects can apply for grants of up to £2,500 to support activities in the area.

Once priorities are set, the community will get to vote for the projects they want funded at a Community Voting Day.

šŸ—“ Please complete the short survey by Thursday 26 March: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=eu-8-ixNMkqsQqAAydsWtz3zmeCOg6hDhx1i6sYXs-lUNVJTMlVOVFpWWkFWNU5JOU5VSTkzWkxaRS4u

Something we’ve been thinking about at The Ermine Exchange: a Book Club.

Before we plan it properly, we want to check if there’s real appetite for it.

If we ran a relaxed, friendly group (no pressure, low-cost, all welcome), would you come?

Tell us:
Comment YES, MAYBE, or NOT FOR ME
Then add:
- what you’d like to read (fiction, non-fiction, crime, romance, biographies, anything)
- best time (daytime or afternoon)
- how often (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)

You can also DM us ā€œBOOK CLUBā€ or just tell us in person next time you’re in.
If there’s enough interest, we’ll share a simple plan and a first meetup date.

Money’s tight, food still needs to be decent, and most of us are tired by the time we’re cooking. This is a friendly space to learn a few go-to meals that actually work in real life, and build confidence one simple recipe at a time. Starting 2nd March and continuing every Monday in March from 10am-2pm at the Ermine Exchange.

Find the details here: https://gogro.org.uk/slow-cooking

To join in, pop into The Ermine Exchange to book, or DM us and we’ll get you on the list.

Every month, Lincoln Foodbank are out at Tesco collecting food and they rely on volunteers to make it happen. It is one of those simple, practical ways a community looks out for its neighbours when money is tight and cupboards are bare.

If you can spare a couple of hours on the 1st Friday of the month to help at Canwick Road or Wragby Road Tesco, you would be part of a quiet chain of kindness that really matters.

Call to action: Can you help, or know someone who could? Email foodbank@actstrust.org.uk or call 01522 542166 (opt. 2), and please share this post so it reaches the right person.
