I am the keeper of my mind and of my body, wherever love is present fear is a stranger, and love is here in me 💖

Thank you so much to so so many people who have now reached out to me and asked if I’m ok 🤗 … my close friends and family obviously know what’s going on, and I thought long and hard whether to post .. but here goes 😅

So, unfortunately after 12 years my breast cancer has returned, resulting in a full mastectomy three weeks ago with immediate reconstruction (because I’m vain 😅) and now I’m just awaiting further results from America, as this time it has reached the lymph nodes, to see whether chemo will be suggested 🫣

This post is NOT for sympathy or such like, but just a quickie to say that sometimes life happens and we just need to take time to step away to heal ❤️‍🩹 … and a reminder that the time to be motivated by guilt, resentment, perfectionism or competitiveness is now over … now is the time to do things out of love, celebration and the joy of self expression 🥰

I miss my horses so much right now (who I am still not allowed near for at least another 3 weeks!) and am so thankful for the support and strength of my loved ones, family and friends for looking after them so well while I can’t right now… especially as Socks had what should have been a minor procedure back in January that went extremely wrong 😢 and has spent a lot of the past three months in veterinary hospital … he came home the week before my surgery - so has obviously needed so much additional care.
I also miss my yoga and exercise lots as it’s always been my relaxation too … but I know I shall soon be back to both running around with the horses and my stretchercise again 💪 ☺️

As we say farewell to 2024 and embrace the new year let’s just take a moment to slow down and reflect on the joy, challenges and lessons we have experienced this year, remembering the importance of love for ourselves and others, compassion, friendship and gratitude ❤️

So… as we step into 2025 let’s leave behind any doubts n fears we may have (I know I have plenty 🫣🤪), and believe we have the confidence in our our own unique ability to absolutely kick ass and achieve whatever our little hearts desire ❤️ 🥹

For me this is lots of fun with the horses 🐴🦄 and getting back to some proper training; to work on all things splitsy, backbendy and of course a consistent upside downs practice to learn how to find some proper balance on my hands, after a rather strange year in general health wise, along with some good ole power yoga flows because they just feel so damned guuuuuuud … obvs 🙄 🧘‍♀️ 🤸‍♀️ 🥰

Happy First Day of Autumn 🍂
Today is also the Equinox when both night n day are of approx equal length, for most of us.

I actually love love luuuuuurve the Autumn as I’m one of those freaks of nature who is not a huge fan of the summer heat 🥵 🤣🤣🤣 … Strangely I just love to watch the leaves on the trees turn from green to the rich n vibrant autumn colours of red, yellow and orange, until they eventually fall off as the seasons change, the daylight hours shorten and they naturally slow down and prepare for the colder season ahead.
Alongside this all the little woodland creatures are also busy storing up and slowing down for the winter too 🦔 🐿️, while the horses are busy changing their sleek summer coats and starting to get just a little fluffy for the colder weather ahead too 🥹 (note to self … must send the horse clipper blades off for sharpening this week too lol 😂)

Anyways, I’ve been missing for a little while so just a little update …

Baby Socks has somehow grown from a baby foal into a fine young yearling ❤️ 🥹 ➡️

Oscar is well … what can I say just Oscar 🤣🤣🥰 ➡️

I am still maintaining my yoga practice, but if you know me then you know already of course 🙄, but I have had a few heath issues this past year and am currently contemplating some possible surgery once I have all my options available next month… I am really trying to do everything I possibly can to avoid this… I mean natural is always the way forward right 🤷‍♀️
Meanwhile I am doing what feels right for me right now … and hope to be posting again soon … maybe with an arm balance challenge in a few months as it’s always the fun element of those that bring me back to my mat ha ha 🤣
That’s about it really 🤔 if you’ve read this far then you’ve done well and been a star 🌟 🤣🤣🤣🫣 … so thanku 🤪🫣🤗

Ooooooops I did it again 🖤🫣🤭🤭🤭

Meet Socks (well it just had to be his pet name lol 😂) … as he is shiny black with four white socks.

Can’t believe that I haven't officially introduced this handsome little fella here yet 🥰

So … here he is, a now ten month old Hannovarian c**t foal, purchased in November 2023, but due to me then not being very well myself for a while he didn’t come home until mid January … and is now nicely settled, perfectly mischievous 😏 soooooo cute and mega cuddly n friendly.

Gotta say I’m right excited for the future with this one 🖤 ❤️ 🖤 … that’s if my daughter Nails by Tasha Tasha Bocock doesn’t totally steal him ha ha 🤣

You’ll no doubtedly be seeing a lot more of us here as he grows, and I’m sure he’ll be joining me in some baby pony yoga before I know it too 🤪

The fun doesn’t end when the sun goes down ☀️ 🌙

… But due to a few things going on at the moment I’m taking a break from social media, and my Bassingham Yoga Room website has been taken offline since 16 July.

Life is all about change, looking after ourselves and movement right … and I hope to be back in a few months 😃

They say you often feel tired not because you’ve done too much, but because you’ve done too little of what lights you up… so always remember to do something that makes your heart happy every single day, whatever that might be … for me it’s most definitely yoga, horses and some upside downs 🧘‍♀️ 🐴 🦄 🤸‍♀️

Thankyou to everyone who has supported me all this time … I’m so thankful to each and every one of you while I take some time out for myself.
