Towels will be used throughout the treatment for clients comfort and dignity. Massage cream or oil’s will be used for treatments. Should you have any allergies please notify the therapist before booking commences. Our aim is to make the client feel as comfortable as possible and prior treatment the therapist will discuss with you on the routine of the massage. Please be aware massage treatment may result in bruising, rashes and delayed muscle soreness. These reactions are all normal and post treatment advice and tips will be discussed at the end of your appointment. Please note prices will differ on treatment requests, distance and locations outside of Lincoln areas, I.e NG, DN or South Yorkshire postal areas.

How much core conditioning are you ACTUALLY doing?
Did you know conditioning your core strength and stability can take stress off your upper and lower limbs and back?
Are we suggesting you to do sit ups every day and expecting to get a solid six-pack? Not at all. Core conditioning is not all about the “perfect ab look”, it’s all about taking load off your joints, activating your abdominals, your Lats and your hip flexors and most importantly reducing risks of any back pain or dysfunction.
Core conditioning is undervalued and shouldn’t be neglected. Yes it can be boring but adapting to your ability and making core training more interesting, you will progressively notice the differences.

Basic guide towards your strength/resistance training needs. Whether you are maintaining your current fitness or in a current rehabilitation programme, take this image as your guideline moving forward.
In between your strength related work, significant recovery is also needed. Whatever your goals/aims the body needs time to recover and allow muscle growth to the next stage of resistance used. Up to 4 days can be needed between use of different muscle groups to improve maximum performance on your next attempts and reducing risk of any injury!

Follow up on our recent post, why are you experiencing back pain? Why is it reoccurring?
The REAL question is, is it conditioned to what you want to achieve or a target outcome. For example, are you adapting it around your work environment or even your own lifestyle? Are muscles weak around your back, resulting in it taking more stress than it actually needs?
Where to go from here?
If you know us well enough, you’ll be aware we a very “pro-core/if in doubt get the core out.” Activating with abs/hip flexors will take stress off loads around your body in work environments, lifestyle or gym related activities. Strong core/hip flexors will give us stability, strong muscle activation and improve overall functional performance.
