My name is Tanya and I am a fully trained and qualified counsellor to Advanced Diploma level. I offer a private and confidential service counselling adults, young adolescents, children and couples. Counselling is a talking therapy that aims to help you deal with and overcome problems and issues that are causing you pain and distress. Counselling provides a safe environment for you to talk and explore your feelings. A counsellor will not give advice but will help you to develop a better insight and understanding of your problems. A counsellor is trained to listen with empathy and help to change negative thought patterns. Some of the areas I deal with

Self esteem issues
Fears
Phobias
Family issues
Relationship issues

I am also a member of The International Society of Professional Counsellors (ISPC) and an Registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychtherapy (BACP) and have completed the Certificate of Proficiency. This year's Tranquil Awakenings Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma which is accredited by the GHSC will commence in October, running for 1 weekend per month.
