Sports massage is a deep tissue massage that aims to stretch tight muscles, stimulate inactive muscles and improve soft tissue condition. It aims to increase range of movement and therefore enable you to move your body more freely and most of all comfortably. Although labeled “sports” this does not limit its benefit to just athletes/sports people. It is something everyone should consider as it enhances performance, assists in recovery and helps prevent injury, so therefore benefits everyone. Massage therapy can also prevent or relieve "DOMS" delayed onset muscles soreness caused by training by encouraging blood and lymph flow throughout the body preventing muscle fatigue and generally making you feel better.
