Today, we stand together with one shared voice and one shared responsibility: to speak up, challenge harmful sexual behaviours, and create a space where everyone feels safe, equal, and respected.

Gender-based violence doesn’t start with physical harm, it starts when we ignore what feels “off”. When we let sexism slide, we miss the chance to set a better example and protect those at risk.

What some call “harmless banter” can actually reinforce attitudes that excuse abuse. Dismissing staring,”jokes”, or whistles, allows a culture of disrespect, where harmful behaviours can follow.

For many women, this is a daily reality — but it’s an issue that can affect anyone. Our community stands for respect for every person.

Together, we speak up. We call it out. We choose a culture that protects and uplifts everyone. Let’s lead with courage, compassion, and accountability 🤍🎓
