🌟 What a night. 🌟
We’re still buzzing from our World AIDS Day Pop Playlist concert this weekend. It was a night filled with community, courage and unforgettable music.
We were honoured to be welcomed by the Mayor of Lincoln, setting the tone with warmth and support.
Then Des Davis moved the entire room with an inspiring and deeply personal speech about his experiences of AIDS, reminding us why nights like this matter.
And Annie Barrett stunned the audience with her vocals: a true showstopper.
Act Two burst into life thanks to the Barberfellas, who opened with a performance that absolutely shook Southside Lincoln.
And Charles from Positive Health closed the event with a heartfelt insight into the charity’s incredible work and growth across Lincolnshire.
Our brilliant band, Lindsay (keys), James (bass) and Jono (drums), brought energy and drive to every song.
And we can’t forget our incredible in-house soloists, who stepped up with confidence, heart and knockout vocals. You represented OUTLoud beautifully and we are so proud.
The audience?
You danced.
You clapped.
You filled the space with joy (especially those at the back of Southside Lincoln turning our concert into a mini pop party!).
We were also thrilled to have members of George House Trust with us, cheering and celebrating throughout the night.
To everyone who came, sang, clapped, cried, celebrated and supported:
thank you for making this a night we will never forget.
We’re now taking a very small break from rehearsals… but we’ll be back in January, louder, prouder and ready for a brand-new year of music.
