Bernadette House is an independent care home that specialises in caring for people with dementia. We take a person-led approach to care and tailor every care plan for each resident, taking into account their personal needs and preferences. Our activity coordinators plan out a variety of activities for our residents and day guests to help them socialise and stay active, such as music, arts and crafts, gardening and more. We frequently take trips out into the community and visit local venues and attractions, including our monthly friendship lunch which has been a huge success so far. We welcome many visitors to the home, including singers and other entertainers, plus pet visits including some exotic animals, whom our residents thoroughly enjoy interacting with. We don’t have ‘visiting hours’ here at Bernadette House - friends and loved ones can visit any time, as this is our residents' home. Our care home is located in the city of Lincoln and is surrounded by a lush garden full of trees, flowers and plants that our residents and visitors can access and easily spend time in nature. We have a range of facilities including 2 lounge rooms, a hair salon, a summer house, an activities room, a cinema room and more. We offer delicious home-cooked meals prepared on-site by our chef. All residents’ dietary needs and preferences are catered for and enjoyed in a restaurant-style dining room, where everyone can eat together if they choose to and socialise with others. We offer home care services in and around Lincoln for people who need some additional support within their own homes. We also provide day care with flexible pickup and drop-off hours, plus a transport service for those who need it. Our day care visitors can enjoy the same activities and social events as our residents.
