A warm welcome awaits you at our nursing home

Holbeach and East Elloe Hospital Trust provides nursing, residential and re-ablement care, with a focus on providing the highest possible standards of living and peace of mind for family and friends. Compassion and the constant spirit of empathy are at the heart of everything we do. Nursing Care is provided for residents with complex health needs and who require the supervision of a fully qualified nurse. Nursing staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are assisted by our highly qualified healthcare support workers who work together with the nursing staff to ensure the very best care and attention is given to all of our residents. Residential Care is for people aged 65 and above who require support with the activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, medication supervision, cooking, cleaning, and mobility which can no longer be managed at home.

We are also currently working with the NHS to provide 6 rehabilitation beds. The people who occupy these beds are usually referred to them from hospital and are in need of rehabilitation or assessment before returning home – if that is the appropriate place of care. The residents are cared for by Holbeach Hospital but supported with Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams provided by the NHS.

The Anne Waltham Unit has six short term beds that are funded by the Clinical Commissioning Group and are known as our GP beds. These beds are occupied by people from the community who don’t need Hospital admission but need extra care as a result of an acute episode of ill health, pain, wound deterioration etc, before returning home. The beds can also be used for assessment of what level of care a person will need in order to achieve their potential for independence or whether residential care is the only option. We pride ourselves on the level of end of life care we are able to provide throughout Holbeach Hospital but this is also something we can provide for people using the β€˜GP’ beds when end of life is imminent.
