We are very proud to sponsor the National Farmers' Union Field Contest, for Edenbridge, Oxted, Redhill & Sevenoaks. Now in its 78th year, this event celebrates the impressive work of our local livestock and arable farmers.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend the Presentation of Prizes & Dinner at East Court earlier this month. Thank you to the NFU for all your generous hospitality, to guest speaker Mr Steve Hook and to Bill Peters, Joint Chairman of the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show, for your kind words.

Thank you so much to all those who came to our second Annual Memorial Service at St Peter & St Paul in Lingfield yesterday evening. With extra special thanks to the Reverend Ian Whitley, Reverend Annie Parish, Piper’s Florist and Quince Cookery. Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to Musical Director Sara and the exceptional choir for all their hard work in preparing for the occasion.

Such a special evening to remember those we have said goodbye to and come together for a time of reflection.

A beautifully poignant and moving Service of Remembrance at St George’s, Crowhurst, led by the Revd Prof Mary Seller.

How blessed we are to stand together as a community, to honour the courage and sacrifice that so many gave, for us.

An autumnal evening at our Oxted funeral home.

This Sunday in Oxted, a march and Remembrance Service will be taking place, as set out by the Royal British Legion:

March-off is from the RBL Club on Church Lane at 09.30, for a service at St Mary’s Church at 09.50. After the Service the Standard Party will dip the standard at Private Joseph Wicks' grave, close to the Oxted Community Centre. The march then continues back to the War Memorial on Master Park at 10.45, in time for a Wreath laying service, followed by The Exhortation, The Last Post, a 2-minute silence at 11.00, and Reveille. On completion there will be a short ceremony at the War Memorial on Old Oxted High Street, followed by some light refreshments available in the RBL Oxted Club on Church Lane.

We will remember them.
