After 29 years with the practice Dr Box has retired.

He would like to thank all the patients and staff who have made the time spent here so enjoyable.

I'm sure we are not alone when we say he will be greatly missed as he has been such a big part of the practice for so long.

He is sad to be leaving his patients but we wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement.

We have further expanded the use of text messages for patient communication, allowing patients to quickly and easily access electronic letters about their care. The electronic letters offer significantly increased benefits for patients through a range of functions including:

👉A translation service with 116 written and 55 read out loud language options
👉Larger text
👉A screen masking function for a customised tine of the letter on screen
👉A picture dictionary with symbols, like a clock, for dementia patients.
👉Enhanced information to help patients get to their appointments, including instructions on finding clinics and integration with Google Maps.
👉Links to resources, providing more information about the appointment or procedure.

The text message service will be complimented by more traditional communications methods, ensuring no patient is excluded.

Una was a member of the District Nursing team here in Linlithgow for the past 19 years. She was dedicated to offering the best care to her patients. She brought kindness and dignity to many though their final days.

We offer our deepest sympathy to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
