Chair Yoga Sessions

Weekly Sessions:
Mondays 9:30 - 10:30
Mondays 11:00 - 12:00
Fridays 11:00 - 12:00

These sessions are for anyone who would like to start exercise classes but struggles to get up from the floor - there is no age restriction on these sessions. Just come and join in and work at your own pace. No previous experience needed. The programme changes every six week.

These exercises are yoga inspired and we use chairs as part of the session, either to sit on or to support any standing poses. They are a good laugh too.

Chair yoga can be incredibly beneficial for people with mobility issues and the elderly.

The great thing with yoga is that it can be adapted to suit anyone’s needs. In some cases, the chair is only used to help with support during poses. It’s an effective and gentle way to improve your strength and flexibility in a way that can complement your current medical interventions, therapies and exercises. Yoga has been shown to improve overall health and balance and with regular practice, you will soon reap the benefits.

I am pleased to announce that I have recently qualified as Indian Head Massage Therapist and also Swedish Body Massage Therapist. I am excited to add this to my Tibetan Hand and Arm Massage repertoire. Cannot wait to start regular massage sessions to spread calm and relaxation.
