What does Classical Pilates really look like?

Let’s set the record straight. Classical Pilates isn’t about how toned you look in leggings. It’s not about handstands or extreme flexibility/ activity on the Reformer. What real Classical Pilates looks like is someone who wants to reduce back pain, regain confidence, improve mobility or simply feel more at home in their body. It looks like you, at whatever stage you’re at, doing something that supports your wellbeing over time. It doesn’t need to look impressive. It just needs to feel like it’s helping.

Classical Pilates equipment classes to the highest standard

Do you suffer from back pain, inflexibility or simply have a general desire to get strong? Practice Pilates as it was intended the way Joseph Pilates rehabilitated our soldiers in WWI and then went on to open his first studio and aid clients (initially dancers) in New York and help them find correct body alignment, co-ordination, strength and endurance. The practice of classical Pilates with equipment has risen in popularity over the years and become mainstream. Learn from a Pilates Foundation qualified teacher with deep understanding and knowledge of anatomy and 25 years experience in body movement, yoga and Pilates. Amanda is passionate about helping people to understand the mechanics of the body and helping them to live in a pain-free and strong body. We only have one.
