Catherine echoes what I have been telling people for years (it’s even written on my cover photo) that nature is our greatest teacher and healer. She found healing and comfort in nature. Sometimes we are given challenges to find out what is really important in life. It’s great that someone of wide-reaching influence is helping people to understand the importance of connecting with the great outdoors regularly. We are centred, grounded and healed in nature, where we can put things into perspective and be at one with everything, so it is your responsibility and part of a wellbeing programme to spend time in nature frequently as well as to engage in regular holistic therapies to naturally and enjoyably promote immunity, good physical and mental health, peace and wellbeing, which will in turn ease the pressure on the NHS.

The message is part of a video series which has seen Catherine reflect on the importance of nature to her, during her recovery from cancer treatment.
